The Refining Process
Apr 04, 2025
Throughout history God has entrusted man to be His mouthpiece to do His will. In the Old Testament He used men like Moses and Aaron to help the children of Israel to exit from Pharaoh, Abraham led his family and his people so that he could become a great nation that would outnumber the stars, and David was a king who led the people of God and saved them from the Philistines. The common denominator of all these men and women was they were all servants of God! There are those of faith who have heard of Job since their childhood, those who are not even Christians have heard of the trials and tribulations of Job. All of Gods leaders including Job had to go through a refining process to become the men that God needed for the upcoming challenge. You may be asking “Job’s process was not refining, it seemed more like punishment”. If you use your physical eyes, you would be correct. But God wanted Job even through trials to use the eyes of faith. There is an abundance of things that we can learn from the book of Job, but we will only look at three. We will see how Job was tested and tried, how God had the ultimate confidence in Job, and Gods leader always prevails. Job’s life is such a great example for us, and I am grateful the Lord decided to record it for us! We all face troubles and trials, but I believe that the book teaches us that no matter what Satan can throw at us, he cannot prevail if we have faith and trust in the Lord. Friend, I don’t know what you have gone through or currently facing, but I do know that with faith and trust God can help you get through. The question is, do you trust in the Lord? How is your faith?
